  • '76 food stops 001

    1976 - Food Stops

    Signs of some of the more popular ‘food stops’ of the day taken for yearbook advertising purposes in October of 1976. Notable in that Plymouth’s Main Street can be seen, looking north, from the then Daly Drive-In parking lot. In a row, several of the fast food stops that no longer exist in 2009 (but the buildings still do). In 2002 the Daly Drive-In site (Ann Arbor Road and Main) became a Rite Aid.

  • Veterans Day 2008 001

    2008 - Veterans Day, Plymouth, MI

    Central Middle School Celebrates Veteran’s Day Students, teachers and staff took part in a ceremony honoring veterans and active members of the American Armed Forces. The Central Middle School Student Council led the Pledge of Allegiance and the seventh grade band played the national anthem. All members of the community were invited to join the students as they honored America’s fighting men and women. --- On Veterans Day, we pay tribute to the service and sacrifice of the men and women who in defense of our freedom have bravely worn the uniform of the United States "Veterans Day, 2008."   • 2010 Ice Fest 001

    2010 - Ice Festival, Plymouth, MI

    Plymouth’s 28th annual Plymouth Ice Festival, January 22, 23, 24, 2010. (Formerly known as the Plymouth International Ice Sculpture Spectacular.) Unfortunately, rain caused cancellation of events on Sunday; however, Saturday’s attendance made up for it.

    The Escape 88.1(WSDP-FM), P-CEP's student-run radio station was one of the featured booths on Main Street broadcasting live.
