Salem High School Teacher Takes Her CSI Lab to Ireland

Marcia Lizzio was invited to be a guest teacher at Ardscoil Ris school in Limerick, Ireland to present CSI: Ireland. Utilizing Best Buy’s Teach Award that Lizzio was awarded in March 2007, she was able to create a curriculum around the forensic science Crime Scene Investigation theme.

Lizzio also was a lecture and workshop presenter for the Irish Science Teachers Association Convention at the University of Limerick March 20-22, 2009. Lizzio was invited to Ireland because of her work as an educational consultant for Pfizer and Beyond Benign, whose initiatives are to encourage students study science as a career.
