1975 and 2006 Diplomas - Two Firsts

What's thirty-one years between classmates? 1975 was the first  graduating class from P-CEP's Canton High School and 2006 marked the first time caps and gowns were distributed at Plymouth High School.

Technically, in 1975, it was 'Plymouth-Canton High School' as a result of the P-CCS School Board officially naming the facility during a March 1972 board meeting.

The same Board approved motion re-named what was 'Plymouth High School' (on Joy Road) to 'Plymouth-Salem High School,' thus keeping the PHS name in reserve until the 2002 dedication of the third P-CEP building (on Beck Road), and for the first four-year attending students to graduate 'Plymouth High School' in 2006.
