1980 Memorial Day 004

Regardless of the seventies fashion trends, students of Plymouth-Canton Community Schools were dressed in style for the 1980 Memorial Day Tribute Parade in Plymouth.

The first downtown celebration of the new decade brought together marching band students from Canton and Salem high schools, along with middle school students who proudly wore their performance uniforms. Disco it wasn’t, as the parade made its way down Main Street ending with a performance and guest speakers at the band shell in Kellogg Park to honor and remember those who have died in our nation's service.
