2006 Canton Alum Makes it as a 'Wannabe'

Visiting the ‘place where it all started,’ Princeton Dudley shared with Plymouth Library Media Specialist, Charlie Jones, that he was a cast member of the new teen show, ‘The Wannabes, starring Savvy.’ During the August 2009 production, Dudley danced in the show’s music videos, played instruments, and was given ‘lines’ in the finale of season one.
When Princeton Dudley graduated from Canton High School in 2006, the field of entertainment was more than a vision, it was a calling. Where did it all start? Maybe it was the video production activities in the Plymouth Library during his high school years, the later acting classes and regular performances, or, working with Universal Music Group, Urban Network Magazine, and Alfonso Ribeiro (“Carlton” from Fresh Prince of Bel-Air). However, it was the recent ‘Howell, Michigan project’ that Dudley was most eager to share.

Michigan’s incentives to bring film production to the state brought the cast and crew of ‘The Wannabes’ for 26 episodes. Dudley wasted no time in submitting his resume and’ headshots.’ The show is currently being shown overseas and soon in the U.S. market.
http://www.thewannabes.tv/articles/view/2 Dudley studied under Hollywood actress Lonette Mckee during the summer of 2009 in Southfield, Michigan, just before the Wannabe show started. Residing in Michigan provides for local opportunities like performing in the ‘Central City Christmas Spectacular’ at Canton Township’s, The Village Theater at Cherry Hill. However, Los Angles is calling and Dudley plans to relocate in the next year. Let’s hope he stops by The Park for another update. Stay tuned…
Princeton Dudley, P-CEP 2006, visits Charlie Jones in the PHS library. Of course Princeton was asked to check out the latest on the Alumni website while he was there!
