P-CEP students named National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists

 The Plymouth-Canton Educational Park was informed by the National Merit Scholarship Program that 12 students have been named Semifinalists for the 2010 Scholarship Program.

The Video Production Club at Plymouth-Canton Educational Park premiered their hour long movie "Finding Focus," at the Canton Cinema on Tues., Oct. 13, 2009. The independent movie was shot at locations in Ann Arbor, Canton and Plymouth and was the effort of fifty P-CEP students and alumni.

P-CEP Students Make the Past a Present Day Mission

Even heavy thunderstorms just hours before their scheduled meeting on a hilltop at Plymouth Township’s Shearer Cemetery could not stop the 85 P-CEP students from taking part in this field trip. The students, all members of Darrin Silvester's Michigan History, demonstrated that working toward a hundred points on their grade can be much more than a class 'room' experience.
