William Zolkowski Named New P-CEP Principal
Plymouth-Canton Community Schools officials recently named William Zolkowski the first principal of the Plymouth-Canton Educational Park. P-CEP has been managed by individual school principals (there are three large high schools on one campus) since it was created in the 1970s. He will begin his new job on July 1, 2009.

The impact and life-changing moments of school year 1944-1945 are evident with several students posing for their senior pictures in military uniform. Also, the yearbook staff writes of the school Superintendent, George A Smith (as in P-CCS Smith Elementary School), and the loss of PHS students during the Second World War.
Salem High School Teacher Takes Her CSI Lab to Ireland
Marcia Lizzio was invited to be a guest teacher at Ardscoil Ris school in Limerick, Ireland to present CSI: Ireland. Utilizing Best Buy’s Teach Award that Lizzio was awarded in March 2007, she was able to create a curriculum around the forensic science Crime Scene Investigation theme.
High School Chinese Teacher earns Scholarship to Visit China
Stacey Aksman, Chinese Teacher at Plymouth High School, has been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to visit and study in China this summer. She will be in China from June 22 until Aug. 8 to learn about Chinese teaching methods and participate in the intensive language study.
